Currently enrolled in Rutgers’ MSW program, I have had the pleasure of working with the Sherry Blair Institute as both a Behavioral Assistant and now as an Intern, which has greatly increased my knowledge of the Nurtured Heart Approach and my ability to truly work with families to grow through various challenges.  As an Intern, I have been working closely with Sherry on further developing the 8 Step Positivity Process To Lead Change In Your Life, which is a program I feel to be highly beneficial to anyone experiencing the change process.  In 2010, I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ramapo College of New Jersey and have since completed the New Jersey Children’s System of Care Behavioral Assistant Training Certification. I have always been passionate about working with children, ages 4 through 21, which has been the focus of my career for the past 12 years. My experience includes Care Management, social skills classes and enrichment classes for youth with emotional and behavioral challenges, as well as development disabilities. I am also a NASM certified Personal Trainer and combine my two passions – fitness and social work – whenever I can, especially when working with teenagers and body image.  I am committed to assisting youth and families reach their goals using a wellness approach that focuses on the relationship between the mind and body.
