I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  I came to the Sherry Blair – Institute for Inspirational Change in 2008 as an intern and have grown with both personally and professionally.  I have a Bachelors of Arts in Human Ecology with a concentration in Family Studies from Montclair State University and a Masters in Social Work from Rutgers University.  I also hold a certification as an Anti-Bullying Specialist from Montclair State University.

I have been servicing children and Families since 2004.  My resume includes employment in various locations where I have grown and obtained my level of expertise in children and families.  Currently, I am a School Social Worker at the same elementary school I attended as a child.

At the Institute, I am a therapist, a supervisor, and oversee the Quality Assurance Department. I also co-authored a children’s book series with Sherry Blair, Jangala Tribal Warriors which teaches children positive psychology, the Nurtured Heart Approach, diversity and anti-bullying as well as cognitive and rational emotive teachings.

I am tri-lingual.  I speak Portuguese and Spanish and am honored to be of service to diverse communities.

I am the Co-Chair of the National Association of Social Workers – Essex Unit and more recently published a children’s book and facilitator’s Guide on positive psychology transcribed in a children’s story.

Of all my accomplishments, my biggest is when I am able to promote change in a family.  I am truly passionate about my role in the life of the children and families that I service and look forward to promoting that change in your home and family as well.
