Nancy Bonilla is a dedicated and compassionate Nurtured Heart Parent Coach with over two decades of experience in working with children and families and helping parents navigate the joys and challenges of raising children. With a deep understanding of child development and family dynamics, Nancy works with parents to strengthen their relationship with their children, improve communication, and create a harmonious home environment utilizing the Nurtured Heart Approach (NHA).

Utilizing NHA, Nancy works to empower parents to approach parenting with confidence, while also providing practical strategies for managing behavioral challenges, setting healthy boundaries, and fostering emotional intelligence in children. Nancy believes every family is unique and her coaching approach is tailored to meet the individual needs and values of each family.

Nancy earned her Bachelor’s degree from Montclair State University, a Master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University, and has continued to pursue other certifications in order to remain up to date and relevant in the services she provides. Nancy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish, and whether early in the morning, late at night, or on weekends, Nancy offers convenient virtual sessions around parents’ busy schedules.

Outside of her coaching, Nancy works with teenagers within a local urban school district, and serves as a Field Liaison and Off-Site Instructor at Rutgers University, all of which she believes contributes to her lifelong journey of learning and growing as a professional.

Nancy is a mother to three small children and can relate and understand the day to say struggle that many families face. She believes that parenting is a lifelong journey and is committed to helping parents build strong, resilient relationships with their children.
