I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, with a minor in Deaf Studies, from Boston University in May 2024. During my time at BU, I had the unique opportunity to intern in a child and adolescent psychiatric ward in Blackrock, Ireland. This experience solidified my passion for working with children and their families in psychological spaces.
In addition to my internship, I have spent the past ten years working with children and their families in various capacities. I have served as a Behavioral Therapy Camp Counselor at Stepping Forward Counseling Center (Chatham, NJ), a nature educator for young children at Williamstown Rural Lands (Williamstown, MA), and a childcare provider for several local families. Currently, I work as a Child Development Specialist for TheraCare, where I provide in-home developmental therapy for children aged 0-3 in Bergen, Hudson, and Essex Counties. I also recently completed the Brazelton Touchpoints Training through the Center for Autism and Early Childhood Mental Health at Montclair State University.
These diverse experiences have led me to embrace a holistic model of intervention, emphasizing understanding and compassion for each family’s unique needs. I am excited to begin my first position at Sherry Blair Institute and to be a new member of the SBI team. I look forward to growing in my skills and knowledge alongside my colleagues, while supporting local families in my community.
