I am an entrepreneur, and author, who found my true calling in life when I started working with families. For over 30 years, I have advocated for parents and youth: cultivating solid and trusted relationships with those I serve.  As a former parent advocate for Bergen County’s Family Support Organization, a CMO for Bergen Promise, I liaised with Social Services supporting mediation between parents and children.  I am also a Life Coach, Mentor, Public Speaker and Youth group facilitator. I have also worked with the “Nulites” of the Bergen County Urban League.  My passion for youth empowerment set the foundation for my company Simply I.M.A.G.IN.E. (Incorporating My Awesome Greatness IN Everything). I encourage people to see the best in themselves and to live the life of their dreams. As a graduate and continued student of extended studies at Inner Visons Institute for Spiritual Consciousness, I am proficient in teaching application of life skills, tools and principles for everyday living.

During the Late Mayor and former councilwoman, Lizette Parker’s 5th Annual Black History Month Program celebrating African-Americans Making a Difference in the Community, I was honored with The Youth Leadership Award by The County of Bergen, The Bergen County Board of Chosen Freeholders, and the Teaneck Township Council amongst others.

For three years I co-hosted the “Boost in the Morning” talk show on blog talk radio. I interacted with people around the globe offering inspirational principles and motivational tools.  I have been featured in the Teaneck Suburbanite, The Hudson County Voice as well as the Hudson Reporter. The New York Amsterdam News featured me with the headline, “Local Author Reveals the Secret World of Teens in New Book.”  Through my work, I have acquired the reputation and title of “Teen Whisperer,” a privileged honor bestowed by teens and parents alike.  I am the author of “What Your Teen Won’t Tell You…but really wants you to know!” which offers readers a space to hear teen voices and insights to what they are really saying.

I value Conscious listening as an act of love and joy of life as a possibility for all.
