James DeVone currently is working as a Float Clinician for High Focus Centers Adult and Adolescent Partial Hospital and Intensive Outpatient Programs for approximately 2 years conducting intake assessment, individual, family and group sessions. James previously worked at Trinitas Hospital Children’s Mobile Response from September 2008 to November 2013. During James’ time at Mobile response, he specialized in an outreach program he developed which included in-home behavioral planning, linkage for DD eligibility and follow up trainings for parents on selected children (child with intellectual disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injuries). James continued to develop and strengthen his understanding with each outreach until switching jobs in November 2013.
Other areas James has worked include working at Morris Union Jointure Commission in 2004 to 2005, SERV Residential Program in 2005 to 2007, SERV Partial Hospital Program in 2007 to 2008. From 2005 until the present, James has continued to work In-Home services on both the behavioral assistant level (BA) and therapist level (MA) with children with Intellectual Disabilities as well as Mental Health concerns. James’s internship included working on a Dual Diagnosis Unit at Trinitas Hospital for individuals with intellectual disabilities as well as co-occurring mental health concerns.
