I graduated from Katharine Gibbs Business School in Montclair, NJ.  After working as a secretary at the Brendan Byrne Arena, I went on to become an EMT and CPR Instructor, and Youth Squad Advisor on my local volunteer ambulance Corps.  As my adoration for the medical profession increased, I went back to school, where I became a Certified and Registered Medical Assistant.  My experience with trauma led me to positions assisting in surgical settings for medical practices in Hackensack and Bloomfield, NJ.  After years of working in the medical field, I returned to work at the Arena, in the roles of Administrative Assistant and Operations Supervisor, gaining experience in Operations, Marketing, and Group Sales.  Many years later, caring for my terminally ill father led me to a career in home health care.  It was at this time that I reconnected with my childhood friend Sherry Blair, and accepted a position as an office assistant with The Sherry Blair Institute, while continuing to work as a Home Health Aide.  Soon thereafter, I assumed the role Office Manager, a title that I currently hold.  Having completed the Rainbows Facilitator Training, I became certified to run Rainbows groups, assisting children through the grieving process, whether due to death, divorce, deployment, or trauma.  Trained in the Nurtured Heart Approach, I am committed to practicing positive reinforcement in all of my daily encounters.  Also an advocate of volunteerism and reaching out to those in need, I have served on several committees and assisted those in need on various community projects including, but not limited to church groups, post-911 efforts, Habitat for Humanity, and the New Jersey Food Bank.
