I join the Sherry Blair Institute as a Licensed Social Worker. I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a Certificate in Violence against Women and Children. I have been a member of the Children’s System of Care for the last 9 years, working in various roles in the Care Management Organizations. My experience includes working with youth aged 5-21 with various emotional behavioral and developmental challenges. I am a Certified Behavioral Assistant and trained in the Nurtured Heart Approach. In addition, I have experience working with youth to promote resiliency after traumatic events. I am trained in Classroom, Community, and Culture-Based Interventions (CBI) using movement and music to promote resiliency and Skills for Psychological Recovery (SPR) from the International Trauma Center. I am a certified Disaster Response Crisis Counselor for the state of New Jersey.
I have a strong respect for the children and families I serve while working diligently to overcome barriers through honesty and respect. I am energized and motivated to partner with families to promote the change necessary to achieve their goals.
